Sheesh! For such regal looking snakes, Spitting Cobras are pretty darn nasty! And they do spit, only you'd wish it was just a loogie they're hawking! In reality, it's venom! So don't piss these snakes off! I'd say the chances of encountering one in the wild are slim since they live in India, but low and behold, some whacko in Los Angeles had one as a pet that got loose a few years back! It was caught, but still, how the hell do you get a cobra as a pet?!
