Those who encounter ghosts always talk about a sulphuric smell that lingers. Guess now we know what it is, though, let's be honest here, farts are merely the ghosts of things we ate! Bubble's been known to rip some beauties too from time to time, but it ain't always much fun being on the receiving end, is it? At least L'il Gassy is friendly about it!
Ted Dawson is a relatively new pal to these CRAZY parts, dishing up his first BUBBLE FOX guest comic, and boy did he drop a big one! A cartooning veteran behind the syndicated SPOONER and recent graphic novel, GRUBBS, I met Ted on Twitter, along with so many other wonderful artists I'm proud to call pals (See kids? Social media isn't entirely bad. You just gotta steer clear of political crap!)! A longtime fan of classic kids comics series like ARCHIE and Harvey Comics, Ted worked some of that love into his BF comic by rendering it in Warren Kremer's classic style. Gassy the Farty Ghost could very easily be Casper's cousin. He'd be far more entertaining than Spooky, that's for sure! Thanks again Ted! You have no idea how thrilled I was when I saw GRUBBS for sale at SDCC and told the dudes selling it I knew you!
